Why doesn't Duterte have a Chinese name?

Duterte's grandfather immigrated to the Philippines from Xiamen, Fujian in the late Qing Dynasty. However, since his father, it has been localized and used a Spanish name. Duterte himself can't speak Chinese and has no Chinese name.
