The starting point and ending point of the vortex river

The Wohe River originates in Weishi County, Henan Province, flows through Kaifeng, Tongxu, Fugou, Taikang, Lu Yi, Bozhou, Yang Guo and Mengcheng in Anhui Province in the southeast, and joins the Huaihe River at the Feihe River in Huaiyuan County, Bengbu City. The tail of the river flows into the Huaihe River near the Feiheji in Huaiyuan County.

The Vortex River, a tributary on the left bank of the middle reaches of Huaihe River, the second largest tributary of Huaihe River, and the main channel of Huaibei Plain, is northwest-southeast. Originated in Weishi County, Henan Province, it flows southeast through Kaifeng, Tongxu, Fugou, Taikang, Lu Yi, Bozhou, Yang Guo and Mengcheng, Anhui Province, and flows into the Huaihe River at the Feihe River in Huaiyuan County, Bengbu City.

The upper reaches of the Wohe River are in Tongxu County and Weishi County of Henan Province, where the terrain is flat and the river flows slowly, forming a large number of swamps and wetlands. The middle reaches flow through Bozhou, Yang Guo, Mengcheng and other places, and are the center of the Guohe River Basin. The terrain is relatively open, and the river speed is accelerated, forming countless curved rivers and lakes. The downstream enters Bengbu City and finally flows into Huaihe River.

The end of the vortex river flows into the Huaihe River near the Feiheji in Huaiyuan County. Here, the Vortex River meets the Huaihe River, forming a wide water surface with spectacular scenery. At the same time, it is also the end of the Wohe River Basin, where the river flows into the Huaihe River, continues to flow eastward into Hongze Lake, and finally flows into the Yellow Sea.

Wohe River is an important river in Huaibei Plain, which is of great significance to agricultural production and water transportation in this area.
