Li Gang belongs to Jiangyin and is located to the west of Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province. Jiangyin is the world of Wu dialect, and Jiangyin Ligang is also the world of Wu dialect. Jiangyin Ligang dialect is similar to Changzhou dialect. You pronounce it as Yougu, we pronounce it as Ougu, and they pronounce it as Dagu. However, there is a small group of Ligangtanli people who speak the northern Jiangsu dialect living along the Yangtze River in Ligang. The ancestors of the Ligangtanli people are immigrants from northern Jiangsu, and the Ligangtanli people cannot be considered Jiangyin people.
