The Fifth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee put forward a major historical task of building a new socialist countryside with "development of production, affluent life, civilized rural customs, clean village appearance and democratic management". Under the correct leadership and unified deployment of the district committee, the township party committee and government widely publicized, conscientiously implemented and deeply understood the new connotation of building a new socialist countryside, and achieved the following three aspects.

Actively strive for the superior investment of 6.5438+200,000 yuan, the township government investment of 30,000 yuan, the 240㎡ building of the township judicial office, and the whole village of Guazhai and Buxing Village to promote the project. Now the project is progressing smoothly and there has been a new breakthrough in family planning. The township has completed 208 cases of ligation, with 200 cases of tasks, accounting for 104% of the tasks assigned by the superiors, and 86 cases of one child releasing the ring, accounting for 86% of the tasks assigned by the superiors. The social support fee is 340,000 yuan, and the tasks are 70,000 yuan, accounting for 420% of the tasks assigned by the superiors. Four, care and support the new rural construction task force, and create a good atmosphere.

On March 19, the hometown welcomed the arrival of the resident team members. According to the arrangement of the district committee, the township party committee and the government care about and support the members of the new rural construction in their daily lives, strictly demand them in their work, constantly urge them in their thoughts and actively urge them in their studies, which has won the understanding and support of all the members, and realized the benefit of the masses and the education of cadres. (2) The investment in the supporting treatment project of Yudong Reservoir runoff area will continuously accelerate the construction of a new socialist countryside in our township.

Township is located in the upper reaches of Yudong Reservoir, and more than two-thirds of the reservoir area will be in Sujia Town. The township belongs to the direct runoff area of Yudong Reservoir. Due to the backward production level and outdated living habits, coupled with fragile basic conditions, the water quality of the reservoir is deteriorating and soil erosion is more serious, which has attracted great attention from the provincial, municipal and district party committees and governments. After repeated research and legislation by the provincial people's congress, the Regulations on the Protection of Yudong Reservoir was promulgated and passed. My township vigorously publicized and actively strived for the input of party committees, governments and departments at all levels, which improved the water quality of the reservoir to some extent. At the same time, the investment in all kinds of construction will certainly promote the industrial development of the township, improve the production and living conditions of the masses, increase the investment in infrastructure construction such as water, electricity and roads, improve and create the ecological environment, and accelerate the pace of building a new socialist countryside.

Problems in the construction of new countryside: 1. Because of the large poverty area and deep poverty in my hometown, the poverty alleviation work has a long way to go, and it needs to be put into construction, and it is difficult to increase the intensity of changing the appearance of the masses. The time and pace of new rural construction are slow.

2. Backward production concepts and living habits, as well as the low cultural level and quality of the masses, make the masses fundamentally change their concepts, and the task is still very arduous.

3. The township financial revenue source is single, the financial difficulties are used to develop industry, and the funds invested in construction are seriously insufficient. Many people report that the problems solved cannot be solved in time.

4. There are still some potential unstable factors in the social field, which restrict and affect the all-round economic and social development of the township to a certain extent.

Seven, the new rural construction work ideas and next steps.

In Weijiabao Natural Village of Guazhai Village, 30 biogas digesters have been built, 500 mu of walnuts have been planted, and konjac 16 mu has been developed. The people have achieved poverty alleviation in an all-round way, and the people have achieved simple folk customs, democratic management and democratic financial management.
