Economic investigation of Wangtan town

Wangtan Town is located in the south of Laoting County, Hebei Province. It is an important port-facing town and the south gate of Laoting County. Located at the southern end of Luanhe River Delta surrounded by Beijing, Tianjin, Tang and Qin. The town governs 74 administrative villages with a total area of 165.8 square kilometers and a population of 48,000. The town government is located at17km north of the county seat, only 7km away from Jingtang Port, a national first-class port. Tuogang Railway and Tanggang Highway run through the north and south of the town, and Qintangcang Coastal Highway runs through the east and west of the town, reaching Tanggang Expressway in the north and connecting with Beijing-Shenyang Expressway and Beijing-Tianjin Expressway. The transportation location advantage is good, the transportation is convenient, the resources are rich, and the human feelings are simple. The famous tourist area Jinyintan Bath and Laoting Industrial Park are in the town.

Wangtan Town is known as the "Land of Fish and Rice", which is rich in natural resources, rich in rice, wheat, fruits and vegetables. Coastal mudflats are suitable for aquaculture, forming a "sea pasture" with shrimp, shellfish and fishing as the mainstay. The area of cash crops with fruits and vegetables as the leading varieties in the town is 50,000 mu, accounting for more than 50% of the total cultivated area, and the production scale of protective fruits and vegetables exceeds 1000 mu. Aquaculture is a traditional advantage industry in our town, and its scale and benefit are increasing year by year.
