Harbin Summer Music Concert (referred to as ‘Harbin’).

"Harbin Summer" Concert Factory, "Shanghai Spring" Concert and "Yangcheng Music Flower Fair" are also known as China's three major music festivals.

Harbin is located on the northern border of China. It is a city with a unique cultural tradition. With the influx of a large number of foreign immigrants in the early days, Western music culture also entered Harbin.

The blending of Eastern and Western cultures has created the music-loving character of Harbin people.

The arrival of literary and artistic workers from Yan'an after the liberation of Harbin injected fresh blood with vital significance into Harbin's music culture.

In August 1958, Harbin people first held the "Harbin Summer" music activity month, which laid the foundation for the subsequent Harbin Summer Concert.

The first Harbin Summer Concert opened on August 5, 1961 at the Harbin Youth Palace.

Since then, the Harbin Summer Concert has spread throughout the motherland on the wings of singing.

It was held for 6 times from 1961 to 1966. It was interrupted during the 10-year "Cultural Revolution". In 1979, the 7th Harbin Summer Concert, co-sponsored by the three northeastern provinces, was grandly held again.

It ignited a new Long March in the music industry and is of great significance in promoting the development of music and art across the country.
