The dam is a concrete gravity dam with a maximum dam height of 57m, a dam crest elevation of 83m, the upstream surface is vertical, the downstream dam slope is 1:0.75, and the total length of the dam crest is 439.5m.

The third riverbed power station is located on the left bank, with a unit section length of 78m and an installation length of 46m. The ship lift is located on the right bank and is a first-class vertical ship lift. It adopts wet transportation mode. The effective size of the ship-carrying box (length × width × height) is 42 × 10.2 × 1.7m. The navigable tonnage is 300 tons. The designed annual transportation volume is 67.8 in the near future. 10,000 tons/year, with a long-term capacity of 1.73 million tons/year. The power station has an installed capacity of 252,000 kW and an annual power generation of 898 million kWh.
