How and where can I check the visa situation in the United States?

On the official website of embassies and consulates in China, USA, you can directly check the website address (_zh/cn-main-contactus.asp).

1. If applying for a non-immigrant visa, enter the interview location and the barcode number of the DS- 160 form, and check the DS- 160 form and visa application status online.

2. If you apply for an immigrant visa, you can enter the file number.

Precautions:

1. Check the visa status online. Please wait at least three working days after the interview, and then check the visa application status. If you have inquired before, the system may not have updated your application status, so the information you obtained may not reflect your current actual visa status.

2. Status display: Published? Visa passing status; Administrative treatment? Administrative review status.

After the visa application is approved, your passport and visa will be returned to you in one of the following two ways:

1. Send it to the business outlet of China CITIC Bank you selected before. Please note: CITIC Bank will only keep your passport information 15 days. /kloc-if it is not collected after 0/5 days, it will be returned to the embassy or consulate. You must collect your passport information within 15 days. Please don't go to CITIC Bank of your choice without being told that you can get your passport. You can only get your passport at the branch you choose. ?

2. Send it to your home or office (paid service option). This service does not include areas outside Chinese mainland (such as Hong Kong and Macao). If the mailing address of the applicant is not in Chinese mainland, the passport will not be delivered. This service requires you to pay extra freight directly to EMS when you receive your passport.
