Is the seaman's card visa-free to go to the United States?
Sailor card can't be exempted from visa when going to America.
Seaman's card is a certificate issued to maritime workers, which is mainly used for boarding ships and going to sea. Holders of seamen's certificates still need to apply for corresponding visas to the United States and cannot enjoy visa-free treatment. According to the provisions of the US Immigration and Nationality Law, a sailor can apply for a C 1/D visa, which allows the holder to stay in the United States for short-term business activities related to ships, but cannot work, study or settle in the United States.
To go to the United States, you need to apply for a corresponding visa. Different types of visas have different application conditions and approval procedures.
