Application procedure

Accepting organ: Exit and Entry Administration Department of Public Security Bureau of the county (district) where the household registration is located.

(1) Use my recent bareheaded color photo (specification: 48× 33mm, with a white background) to fill in the Approval Form for Mainland Residents' Travel Permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao.

(2) Submit a valid resident ID card and the original residence booklet (/kloc-applicants under 0/6 years old only need to submit the residence booklet, and military personnel only need to submit the identity certificate) and submit a copy. If a resident with a permanent residence in this Municipality applies for an endorsement again with a valid pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao, the original and photocopy of the ID card and household registration book are exempted.

(3) Submit the original proof of kinship, and submit a copy (if you visit a relative who has settled in Hong Kong or Macao and apply for visiting the same relative again within 1 year, this proof is not required). Proof of kinship refers to the household registration book, marriage certificate, birth certificate, notarial certificate, proof of kinship and other documents that can prove kinship issued by the unit where the applicant's file is located or the police station.
