Significance of Badong Yangtze River Bridge

Badong Yangtze River Highway Bridge was laid on February 26th, 2000, and was completed and opened to traffic on July 26th, 2004. It is the first large-scale reinforced concrete twin-tower cable-stayed bridge across the Yangtze River in Hubei Province. With the cancellation of bridge toll, it will further change the status quo of Badong National Highway 209 and promote the rapid economic development along the route.
