Can I return to China after immigrating to Canada?

What you should ask is whether there is any conflict between returning to China and living in Canada.

1. Every permanent resident must meet the residence requirements every five years. The following conditions are considered to meet these residence requirements:

(1) Accumulated 730 days of actual residence in Canada every five years;

(2) accompanying a spouse with Canadian citizenship abroad, or accompanying a child of a parent with Canadian citizenship;

(3) Full-time employment in a Canadian enterprise or holding a public office in Canada or a foreign province;

(4) Accompanied by a spouse or a child with Canadian permanent resident status, and the spouse or parents work full-time in a Canadian enterprise or perform official duties in Canada or a province;

(five) other matters in the management regulations.

2. There are two ways to check the residence requirements:

(1) Whether those who have been in Canada for less than five years can still meet the residence requirements within five years from the date of becoming permanent residents;

(2) Whether those who have lived in Canada for more than five years have met the residence requirements in the first five years since the date of inspection.

3. If it is found that the residence requirements are not met, immigration officials will decide whether to cancel the permanent resident status in a balanced way from the perspective of humanity and sympathy, combined with the situation that the child's best interests will be directly affected.
