1. IELTS reading

I believe that many roast ducks will have this big problem, that is, IELTS reading time is too long, reading questions can not be finished, and time is not enough.

Early problem: reading is too slow to finish the questions (do you have one, too)

Methods: Practice time-limited reading at ordinary times. In the usual exam, the average reading time for each reading is 20 minutes. However, due to various factors such as nervousness, it is absolutely impossible to complete reading if the training time is 20 minutes. Train for a limited time 16min/ article, then read three articles in one breath, then check the answers, then analyze the wrong questions and accumulate agreed conversions and new words. The purpose of reading three articles at a time is to familiarize the brain with the routine of the exam. Being familiar with the routine of IELTS test will help you improve the speed of reading and solving problems. When you read the first article in an exam, your ears are always clear, but when you read the third article, you don't know what to say. Therefore, it is recommended to start high-intensity training at ordinary times. Only you are familiar with the thinking of IELTS reading articles and the rules of writing questions, so you must practice your endurance and be familiar with three such high-intensity articles during training. Remember the reality, the time of three articles is 16min*3.

Admittedly, IELTS writing can't be improved to a high level in a short time, and sometimes it really takes a little luck. I feel that sometimes I can't get 7 points, but besides luck, there are too many places that we need to work hard, and that is strength.

From the arrangement of opinions between paragraphs to specific paragraphs, how to demonstrate opinions is supported by an internal logical framework. This can be summed up as "making it clear". Reflected in the grading standard, it is the most important part of task response and grading. An article digress, basically reached 6-6.5 points; If there is only one point of view, but the argument logic is not clear, it is basically 6.5 points.

Logical structure is your framework, so language expression is how to enrich this framework. The language expression here does not require a good level of Chinese words, but whether it is authentic. Remember, the expression here does not mean how to express it in gorgeous words, but how to be authentic and how to write articles like a western native writer. This can be summed up as "well said, well said".

The logical structure of the full text can be trained by brainstorming. Read the composition topics for a whole year, and then put forward your own opinions. Take the model essay as an example, you can compare it with the model essay, and then reflect on whether your point of view is easy to demonstrate and whether the deduction is close.

The discussion of a certain point of view needs to be completed through a lot of writing exercises. This kind of exercise is not blind. For students who have no ideas, it is recommended to accumulate arguments first. When discussing, you can describe the result of this view, such as homesickness and helplessness. By summing up, we know how to expand an idea logically. After imitating for a period of time, you need to start writing by yourself.

Students with poor foundation will translate the teacher's model essay twice and accumulate their own expressions different from the original, and the basic expressions can be mastered by 60% to 70%. My own method is to write my Chinese thinking expression on the left and my English expression on the right.
