1. Tagore was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, India on May 7, 1861. He advocated doing more "constructive" work, such as going to the countryside to develop their own industries, eliminating poverty and ignorance, etc., but some people did not accept his advice and because of disappointment, he withdrew from the movement. From then on, for a long period of time, he lived a secluded life away from the real struggle and immersed himself in literary creation.
