A brief introduction to Korean Americans.

Korean Americans are a branch of Asian Americans. According to the 2000 census, there are about 65438+300,000 Korean Americans. It is generally believed that the first batch of North Korean immigrants were North Korean laborers who went to the sugar cane garden in Hawaii in 1903 13. 1965 after the immigration bill was passed, more Koreans came to the United States.

Korean Americans are mainly distributed in California, new york, Texas, Washington, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia. Los Angeles is the largest Korean settlement outside the Korean peninsula.
