How do immigrants carry pets?

Australia/New Zealand

After months of isolation in Hong Kong, the curve "immigration"

It usually takes more than one month to prepare for going to the United States, Canada or other countries, but it takes seven months to prepare for bringing pets into these two countries. Among all the complicated regulations, the most important point is that pets must abide by the quarantine regulations before entering Australia, and they must first obtain an entry permit in Australia.

Unfortunately, Chinese mainland is not a country with entry permit. Therefore, pet owners can only "reluctantly give up what they love", send their beloved pets to other countries or regions (the nearest region is Hong Kong) for a few months, and then bring them into China according to the necessary procedures for isolating countries or regions from entering Australia.

USA/Canada

You can choose your home in isolation.

It is much easier to bring pets into the United States and Canada. If your dog doesn't have a valid rabies vaccination certificate, don't worry, as long as you promise to isolate the dog from outsiders after entering the country. The most humane point is that in order not to let the owner and pet miss each other, the owner can choose the isolated place, even the home. However, after arriving at the destination, remember to vaccinate the pet within 4 days, and continue to isolate it for 30 days after vaccination. After the quarantine period, you are free to walk your dog outside.

In addition, the laws of the United States and Canada stipulate that dogs under three months cannot be vaccinated against rabies. Even people who have been vaccinated in the country of origin are no exception. Dogs under three months old must be quarantined after their owners agree to enter the country. Dogs can only be vaccinated after 3 months, and they have to be isolated for 30 days after vaccination.

Prepare the following points:

1. Rabies vaccine certificate

Pets required to enter the Mainland must have been vaccinated against rabies within 1 month to 1 year before entry.

2. Health certificate

The health certificate and rabies vaccine certificate issued by the government veterinarian of the exporting country must be signed by the veterinarian and stamped by the government department. The issuance date of health certificate must be within 14 days before the employment date, so don't apply for health certificate too early, generally about 2 days in advance. In addition, the health certificate must be signed! The originals of these two certificates must be carried with you.
