Historical facts of Tibet's connection and jurisdiction in Tang, Yuan and Ming Dynasties

In the Tang Dynasty, Tibet was called Tubo, and Princess Wencheng married Songzan Gambu. Tubo and the Tang Dynasty maintained a long-term friendly relationship of intermarriage, economic and cultural exchanges and "harmony as one family".

The Central Committee of the Yuan Dynasty set up the Zheng Xuan Academy to take charge of ethnic, religious and famine affairs in Tibet, and Tibet officially became an administrative region of the Yuan Dynasty.

1727, the Qing dynasty began to set up ministers stationed in Tibet, which is one of the 25 provincial administrative regions in China.
