Foreigners who meet the requirements and really need to come to China during the epidemic period can apply for visas.

The National Immigration Bureau reminds that foreigners holding diplomatic, official and courtesy visas, as well as C-shaped visas mainly issued to employees of entry and exit means of transport, are not affected by this entry restriction. For other foreigners who come to China to engage in necessary activities such as economy, trade, science and technology, epidemic prevention, anti-epidemic cooperation and exchange, and those who really need to come to China for urgent humanitarian reasons, they can re-apply for visas from China embassies and consulates abroad. The National Immigration Bureau will cooperate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to determine the visa entry policy according to the development and changes of the epidemic. If there are any relevant policy adjustments, the National Immigration Bureau will release them in time with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the same time, the National Immigration Bureau solemnly reminded that Chinese and foreign entry-exit personnel should consciously abide by the requirements of centralized isolation measures after entering the country. It is illegal to enter or leave the country without permission in violation of centralized isolation regulations, and the entry-exit frontier inspection organ will hand it over to the relevant competent authorities for handling according to law. Recently, the entry-exit frontier inspection authorities still found that mainland residents went to key epidemic countries for non-essential reasons such as tourism and visits, which increased the risk of infection. They suggested that the passengers concerned should focus on fighting the overall situation of the epidemic and their own safety and health, and try to postpone or cancel their trip abroad for unnecessary reasons.

According to reports, during the epidemic prevention and control period, the National Immigration Bureau vigorously promoted the implementation of the closed-loop management system for epidemic prevention and control from transportation, port quarantine, personnel dynamic trajectory information to destination delivery and community prevention and control. For mainland residents leaving the country, border inspectors should check the latest entry records during inspection. /kloc-if there is an entry record within 0/4 days, it shall be prevented from leaving the country and handed over to the local competent department for legal treatment. If foreign tourists in China are found to have left the country in violation of the regulations during the quarantine period, they will be handed over to the relevant competent authorities for handling according to law, and they will be prohibited from entering the country again within a certain period of time.
