I am in Lianyungang and plan to immigrate to Vancouver, Canada in 2011. Which institution can help me acquire practical spoken English before going abroad?

It is recommended to go to the Lianyungang Cape of Good Hope International Language Training Center. I am Emen, a student there. I plan to go to Vancouver around the end of 2010. I took a physical examination in September this year and have already submitted supplementary materials, but I really don’t know when I will receive the big envelope. Some people say it will be 2 months, some people say 3 months, and I haven’t received it for 8 months. I feel very worried. Later, my studies in China stopped. After I dropped out, I started preparing to learn spoken English at home. To be honest, Lianyungang is not a big city, so it is difficult to find anyone with specialized training in this field online or in society. The two teachers I consulted later had never been abroad, and the textbooks they used were all popular textbooks on the market. I felt that the courses were not tailor-made for me. Maybe most of what I learned was not what I was about to use. And what I hate the most is following the script. After my mother asked her colleagues at work, we went to the Lianyungang Cape of Good Hope International Language Training Center. The teachers’ spoken language was very original and they were well versed in the common sense and procedures of immigration and studying abroad. The most important thing is that the teachers in the Cape of Good Hope knew all the scenarios that would be encountered when studying abroad. For example, spoken English is involved in various aspects such as medical treatment, assistance, inquiry, shopping, transportation, job hunting, declaration, etc. I was taught by Mr. Kenny, the principal of the Cape of Good Hope. Although I had only been there for 15 days, I felt that my meaningful learning life had just begun. It turned out that the gap between Western teaching and Chinese teaching was so big. If you are going abroad next year, if you are not fluent in spoken English yet, I suggest you start as soon as possible in the second half of 2010. If it is later, it will be too late.

I wish you can get the big envelope as soon as possible:)
