Therefore, as of March 31, 2023, Kunming Songhuaba Reservoir can be entered. Songhuaba Reservoir was originally used for flood control and agricultural irrigation. With the development of Kunming, its main function became urban water supply after 1990. After 2003, it stopped providing agricultural irrigation water and has since become a drinking water source for Kunming city.
