Xunzitou, a traditional village hidden in the depths of Taihang Mountain

The vast 800-mile Taihang Mountain hides many traditional villages with simple folk customs and unique architecture. Louzitou is such a village!

Louzitou Village is located on Taihang Mountain, more than 20 kilometers northwest of Taihang Grand Canyon in Shibanyan Town, Linzhou City, and stands on the roof of Taihang Mountain. At first glance, it is the rolling Taihang Mountain. At the foot of the mountain, it is the bright pearl of Taihang-"Taihang Pinghu" in Zhang Wan Canyon, lying meekly at the foot.

There are 13 natural villages in the village, 1 1.5km, scattered on the cliffs with an average elevation of1300 m. 195 households with more than 500 people and only 380 mu of cultivated land.

More than 300 years ago, when Xunzitou was called Shuangqinggou, although the mountain road was rugged and the mountains were high and dense, it occupied a commanding height on the roof of Taihang Mountain, overlooking all beings. Villagers use local materials, stone walls, tiles, tables and benches, and they can manage a rich life of daily necessities without going down the mountain.

Because it is closed, a lot of history and culture have been preserved in the oral tradition of villagers, forming a mellow folk custom.

The old house with stone walls and tiles is still heavy, although it has been honed for a hundred years and is devastated.

Most of the buildings in the village are Zhou-style Chinese quadrangles, with orderly old and young, carved doors and windows, and pay attention to rules. This kind of building can best reflect the characteristics of China society. It contains the deep affection hidden in the bones of China people, as well as the respect for their elders, the leisure of four generations living under one roof, and the fun of teasing their grandchildren, all hidden in this yard.

Everyone's fond memories of home seem to retain such scenes and pictures. It is our emotional sustenance and the essence of China architectural culture.

Huaishuwa, the largest natural village in Louzitou, has only 136 people.

On the day we went, 90-year-old Uncle Ma was chopping wood in the yard. It is said that his family has enough firewood for ten years, but he just can't spare it. The wood with thick arms was sawed into pieces by him in three or two seconds. Clever at work, quick in thinking, deaf and blind, when asked about the secret of his longevity, Secretary Ma nearby concluded that there are more than 20 elderly people in their eighties and nineties in the village, and they all have one thing in common, that is, diligence! It turns out that labor is the best way to keep fit!

The village branch Committee is called Cheng Qifu. He has been a village party secretary for 50 years, and now he is retired. His mind is full of past mistakes. He can sit there and tell the legend of leaking head for three days and three nights. Some stories are passed on by word of mouth, and some are processed by himself. No matter how busy the farm work is, as long as someone asks him to understand his mistakes, he immediately stops everything and starts talking.

At the head of the village, several villagers are busy picking peppers and harvesting corn. They traveled all over the village and didn't meet many people. An old man told us that only thirty people lived in this village. Trees move to death, people move to life, and the Eight Immortals cross the ocean. Who will stay in the village and suffer from poverty?

I have nothing to say.

With the erosion of agricultural civilization by industrial civilization, most rural areas in China are increasingly depressed!

Many leaky yards are also empty. In the corner and roadside, knee-high weeds grow wildly. The fallen old wall is covered with green moss, and the painted doors and windows are mottled with colors. One yard is next to another, one is empty and the other is empty.

Wei Li, who graduated from college and works in Zhengzhou, is from Zhoukou. He just married Xunzitou's daughter-in-law. When he first went to Xunzitou, he was shocked by the majestic Taihang Mountain. He is used to the weather in Ma Pingchuan. When I got to the mountain, I saw the mountain, not the water, and everything was fresh. After consulting with his wife, he returned to the village and opened the first homestay with mountains and stone houses. In addition to his own house, he also took over three yards in the village and invested millions. It became a local focus as soon as it opened in April this year.

The five-month operation, though bittersweet, is not bad, and it has injected vitality into the dying village.

Zhu Lin Village is the best protected natural village in Louzitou old house!

Legend has it that Zhu Lin Village was built by immigrants from the Ming Dynasty. Because there is spring, you can grow bamboo. In the Ming Dynasty, Qin planted bamboo trees here, hence the name Village. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China, there were many stones and carpentry in Zhu Lin village, so most houses in the village were exquisite and sturdy.

Walking into the village, fruits are everywhere. It turned out that there were only more than 20 old people in the village, and a large number of fruit trees were planted, and no one ate them, leaving them to fend for themselves.

Veteran Lao Bai is repairing the house. He said that the village is recognized as a traditional village. The old house is not allowed to be turned over, so it has to be repaired and patched up to make do with it. As a veteran with meritorious military service, third-degree disability and Vietnam War, he stayed in the village for nearly 60 years and took root here. This old house holds all his memories.

Secretary Ma told us that Zhu Lin Village is very old, but the space is narrow, so we can't even find a way. Development is limited. Can only be used as a rural memory, the old house should be preserved first, and opportunities should be found slowly.

In a word, every village in Liaozitou is full of stories of villagers' joys and sorrows. It is their real day that chickens bark and dogs bark and the kitchen smokes every day.

Even though people have gone far, the old house is still there, enduring the erosion of time, the impact of wind and rain, the destruction of insects, with a little residual strength and old age, struggling to support it. Leave a homesickness and a memory for the wanderers who are far away from home.

Many people who walked out of the leaky head still remember that the leaky hawthorn slices were sliced and dried by the old people at home, and then soaked in water as medicine to treat diseases and prevent diseases.

Once eaten, the broken persimmon is stored in my heart, so sweet that I can't accept any other persimmons.

As reflected in the works of Meng Xinyu, a famous painter who has lived in Louzitou for ten years, Damei Taihang is not only magnificent, but also crystal clear, colorful and breathtaking!

That's what happened. Living here, trapped by the majestic Taihang Mountain and stone benches with stone walls and tiles, I always feel that the world is too small, but once I go out, I can't help thinking.

Ma Cunsheng, the secretary, said that I am the youngest in the village now. Since I am the secretary of this branch, I have to seek development for the village.

He has many ideas to develop homestays, farmhouses and parking lots in the village to serve tourists with the help of Taihang Roof Scenic Area. However, it is also subject to many restrictions. As a traditional rural village, the old house can't be moved, the land can't be moved, and only people can move it!

It is better to teach people to fish than to teach them to fish. Whether it is poverty alleviation or revitalization, it is better to go to the countryside with the new knowledge and new ideas of modern urbanites, gradually integrate into the local traditional culture, and at the same time awaken and feed back.

This is the best protection for traditional villages.
