The Historical Evolution of Louzhuang Township

From August 1943 to August 1949, it belonged to Qibin County, and later it belonged to Cao County. In 1958, Paradise Commune was established, and in the same year it was renamed Louzhuang Commune. In 1976, Louzhuang Village was directly under the jurisdiction of Liu Changyu Township. In December 1983, Liu Changyu Township was revoked and Louzhuang Village was changed to Louzhuang Township. In 1996, it covered an area of 37 square kilometers and a population of 33,, and governed Louzhuang, Nanhuangkou, Zhonghezhai, Liulige, Xuzhuang, Gezhuang, Zhonglunzhai, Xixieji, Dongxieji, Anle, Zhongyizhai, Luzhai, Nantawan, Beitawan, Sunzhuang, Gaozhuang, Mazhuang, Qiandaizhuang and Houzhuang.
