Luoyang is a place where many nationalities live together. There are 45 ethnic groups in the city, among which the Han population accounts for 98.8% of the total population, and other ethnic minorities account for 1.2% of the total population, including more than 1,000 ethnic groups, including Hui, Manchu and Mongolian. Ethnic minorities are mainly Hui, with nearly 60,000 people, accounting for more than 80% of the ethnic minority population.
