1. Latvia is a Schengen country. Citizens from Chinese mainland must complete their visas before going to Latvia with ordinary or official passports. Minors (/kloc-under 0/8 years old) must provide student ID card, original certificate issued by the school (including school address and telephone number, leave certificate, name and position of approver) and notarized proof of kinship or guardianship (certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs). Minors traveling alone or with one of their parents must provide a notarial certificate of consent to travel issued by both parents or legal guardians (certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

On-the-job personnel must provide a copy of the company's business license stamped by the work unit, a letter of confirmation issued by the employer (English document or Chinese document with English translation) and a certificate of leave permission.

Married non-working adults must provide notarial certificate of marriage relationship (certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and proof of spouse's employment and income; Unmarried people must provide other proof of fixed income.

Retirees need to provide pension or other proof of fixed income.

3. Visa generally takes 5_ 10 working days. Please apply in advance.
