Yunyang county and Rongchang county

Yunyang and Rongchang are thousands of miles apart. Rongchang County is located in the west of Chongqing, at the junction of Sichuan and Chongqing, 88.5 kilometers away from the center of Chongqing and 246 kilometers away from the center of Chengdu. It is adjacent to Dazu County and Yongchuan District in Chongqing in the east, Longchang County in Sichuan Province in the west, Luzhou City in Sichuan Province in the south, Neijiang City and Anyue County in Sichuan Province in the north.

It takes about an hour and a half to drive to the main city of Chongqing. Rongchang is a famous animal husbandry county in Chongqing, and Rongchang pigs are famous all over the country. Yunyang is located in the northeast of Chongqing, about 300 kilometers away from the main city of Chongqing. Yunyang Immigrant New Town is located in Shuangjiang River on the north bank of the Yangtze River, which is the farthest county in the Three Gorges reservoir area. Yunyang Town, Yun 'an Town and shuang jiang merged into a county seat. After the construction of 10 years, the existing permanent population is10.5 million, and the relocation land is 5.524 square kilometers. It is planned to develop a population of 300,000 in the medium term and 500,000 in 2020, with a total land area of 52.96 square kilometers. Yunyang is a big immigrant county in the Three Gorges and has made indelible contributions to the construction of the Three Gorges Dam.
