Legend in Northeast China: "King of Kanto, outside the Korean border"
I believe many friends have seen the TV series "Kanto Golden Emperor", with a total length of 37 episodes, which is the longest historical TV series in Northeast China. The story has experienced Guangxu, Daoguang, Xianfeng, Tongzhi, Xuan Tong and the Republic of China, and it is also the oldest TV series in Northeast China. This paper mainly tells the legendary story of a famous historical figure in Northeast China, "Han Bianwai". The life of "Han Bianwai" is very legendary: he started from the lowest level of society and achieved his career with the spirit of unwilling poverty, perseverance and high spirits. Later, he led his village to become rich by doing business with Germany. In his later years, when the country was invaded, he donated money to help his grandson resist foreign aggression. In the "land of Longxing" in Changbai Mountain, the Qing Dynasty built a famous "wicker border pass", which prohibited mainland residents from digging ginseng and panning for gold. However, due to the failure of gambling, Han Xianzong secretly crossed the "wicker edge" in 1846 and fled to Jiapigou as a gold miner, which established a high prestige in the metalworking field. Since then, because Han Xianzong and others discovered the mountain gold vein, Jiapigou gold mine has flourished rapidly, which also attracted Hu bandits to "sit and collect taxes and run amok, and everyone suffers from it." At that time, Han Xianzong and others had only a dozen muskets, and they could not fight against Hu bandits at all. When the bandits attacked again, Han Xianzong skillfully dipped many hemp ropes with "fire rope" in kerosene and hung them on a tree fork for lighting (at that time, the musket was triggered by the "fire head", and when the lit fire rope blew, the fire head would flash out, and a fire head represented a musket), and the "fire head" all over the mountains scared the bandits to flee in panic. When he killed Hu bandits when he was young, metalworkers trusted Han Xianzong more and more, so they recommended him as a "master". Han Xianzong lived outside the willow for a long time, so the terms "outside the Korean border" and "outside the big brother" gradually became popular. Later, with rich gold resources, Han Xianzong rapidly developed his own armed forces, and in 1864, he took the opportunity to help quell the Li uprising in Northeast China, and won the "award" from the Qing court to Han Xianyu, the chief leader of Jiapigou Gold Factory (because "Xian Zong was jealous of the emperor" was changed to "Xian Cong"), and he was grateful. After the imperial court "made use of it", Han Xianzong established a perfect ruling organization. The gold miners, loggers, farmers, hunters and ginseng pickers in this area were all under his rule, and the people also "only knew North Korea, but not the Qing Dynasty". Therefore, what outsiders call "Little Korea" or "Independent State of Changbai Mountain" is actually a well-deserved "Golden Kingdom", while the outside of North Korea has become a veritable "Golden King of Kanto". Due to the corruption and incompetence of the Qing court, Japan and Russia have long been eyeing gold mines in the northeast, especially outside the Korean border. From 1900 to 1904, Russia and Japan invaded Northeast China in turn for various reasons. Han Dengju, the grandson of Han Xianzong, led the Han family to fight bravely, which made "the Russians puzzled and didn't know what to do, so they had to retreat step by step"; Later, he appealed to the Qing court that "Japan and Russia have coveted the minerals in the three provinces for a long time, and they did not take the opportunity to make a decision, fearing that Iraq and others would come again", which finally attracted the attention of the Qing court, and the imperial envoy Wang Chongwen praised it for "land preservation". Han Dengju's patriotic behavior and armed forces also attracted the attention of the League. 1February 907, Sun Yat-sen and others sent Song to lobby Han Dengju for the "anti-Qing uprising". At this time, the "island problem" was rampant. Song, who came to the "activity", wrote a book "Island Issues" with great historical value based on the information provided by Han Dengju, which provided strong evidence for China to visit the island again. 1On September 4th, 909, China and Japan finally signed the Provisions on Sino-Korean Border Affairs in Tumen River, which solved the inter-island problems that attracted worldwide attention. Han Dengju died in 19 19, and the Han family declined.
