What is the total population of Panzhihua?

Panzhihua is the only labor importing city in Sichuan except Chengdu, with a permanent population of 1 1.5 million and a floating population of 200,000. It is one of the cities with high inflow rate of floating population in China. Panzhihua is also the only city in Sichuan with a larger urban population than the rural population except Chengdu, with an urban population of 6910.7 million and an urbanization rate of 59.6%.
