1, Chongqing Wanzhou No.2 Senior High School

Wanzhou No.2 Middle School, located in Wanzhou District, Chongqing, is the first batch of key middle schools in Sichuan Province and the first batch of municipal key middle schools after Chongqing was directly under the central government.

Chongqing Wanzhou No.2 Middle School was founded in 1939, and its predecessor was private Wanxian Wende Middle School. It has been renamed Chongqing Wanzhou No.2 Middle School by a famous freshman tutorial school, private Wanxian Xiezhong School and Wanxian No.2 Middle School in East Sichuan.

2. Chongqing Wanzhou Senior High School

Chongqing Wanzhou Senior High School was founded on 1959. According to the increasing population in Shahe area, the administrative center of Wanxian County, and the people's growing demand for culture and education, Wanxian County Party Committee and government decided to set up a complete middle school in the county. Autumn has arrived, and preparations have begun.

From 65438 to 0994, when the Three Gorges Project was built, the Ministry of Water Resources conducted a field investigation on the original site of Wanzhong, and came to the conclusion that "for the sake of safety, it is appropriate to move elsewhere". In June of the same year, Wanxian municipal government decided to move Wanzhong to Baianba, Wuqiao, as a "priority resettlement unit for immigrants". The construction of the new campus began at 1997.

1July 1998, Wanxian Middle School in Sichuan Province was renamed Wanzhou Middle School in Chongqing.

3. Chongqing Wanzhou No.3 Middle School

Chongqing Wanzhou No.3 Middle School, located in Wanzhou District, Chongqing, is a municipal key middle school and an experimental base school for education and scientific research in Chongqing.

The school was founded in 1926, formerly known as "Wanxian Girls' Junior High School"; 1953 was renamed as "Wanxian No.3 Middle School in Sichuan Province"; 1983 was renamed as "Wanxian No.3 Middle School in Sichuan Province". 1997 was renamed Wanzhou No.3 Middle School in Chongqing due to Chongqing's direct jurisdiction.

The emblem of Wanzhou No.3 Middle School is simple and clear, and the main body is red. Red represents enthusiasm, vitality and sunshine, which means that students in Wanzhou No.3 Middle School are as energetic as the sun, with "three" on the left and "middle" on the right.

4. Chongqing Wanzhou Shanghai Middle School

Chongqing Wanzhou Shanghai Middle School, referred to as "Shanghai Middle School" and "Shanghai Middle School", is located at No.298, Shanghai Avenue, Wuqiao Immigrant New Town, Wanzhou District.

Chongqing Wanzhou Shanghai Middle School was founded by Yang Jifu, a famous educator and poet, in 1945, when it was named Yuquan Private School.

1952, the school was taken over by the original Wanxian people's government and renamed Wanxian No.3 junior high school.

1982, approved by Wanxian Municipal People's Government, was upgraded to Wanxian No.5 Middle School. The old school is located at the south bridge head of Wanzhou Railway Bridge, which is 26 meters away from the Three Gorges submerged line/kloc-0. It is a flooded school that was resettled in the second phase.

5. Chongqing Wanzhou No.1 Middle School

Chongqing Wanzhou No.1 Middle School is located in Binjiang North Road, the second bridge head of the Yangtze River. 1952 was awarded as one of the first batch of 14 key middle schools in Sichuan province, and was awarded as Chongqing key middle school in 201year. The school was founded on 1906. Its predecessor was Wanxian Middle School, and it was changed to Wanxian Middle School in 19 12. Later, Wanxian Middle School, Wanxian Junior Middle School and Sichuan Wanxian Middle School were renamed nearly 10 times, and on 197, they were renamed Chongqing Wanzhou No.1 Middle School.

The school has successively won the national advanced unit of ideological and moral construction in primary and secondary schools, the national special prize of moral construction achievements of small citizens, the informationization pilot school of the Ministry of Education, the first batch of Chongqing digital campus demonstration schools, Chongqing civilized units, Chongqing civilized etiquette demonstration schools and Chongqing safe and civilized campus.
