Many people must feel very curious, why all the countries around Singapore are not very developed, but only Singapore can become highly developed.

There is another reason, that is, the area of Singapore is relatively small. Generally, the area of developed countries is not too large. Except for the United States, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom are not large-scale countries. A small country is convenient for public security management, and Singapore's industries tend to be high-end technology industries and financial industries, and those low-end assembly line factories are transferred to some neighboring Southeast Asian countries. Finally, Singapore's geographical position is unique. Just like Hong Kong, it is located in the port area, facing the center of Malacca Strait, which is also the key to trade development. Without coastal ports, it is difficult for a place to develop.
