Where do Tajiks live?

Tajiks live in Tashkurgantaji Autonomous County, Xinjiang, which is located in the east of Pamirs, the roof of the world. Tajiks believe in Islam. The language of Tajikistan belongs to the Iranian language family. For a long time, Tajiks have used Pamir's abundant pasture and water resources, mainly engaged in animal husbandry and agriculture, and lived a semi-nomadic and semi-settled life. Women wear embroidered cotton hats with curtains behind them, which tightly cover the back of their heads and ears.

In terms of diet, Tajiks usually give priority to milk, meat and pasta, rarely eat vegetables, and do not eat pigs, dogs, donkeys, horse meat, and any animals that have died without slaughter. Tajik houses are generally low flat-roofed houses with the same color civil structure. They pay great attention to etiquette, have ancient legends and like eagles. Herdsmen are good at singing and dancing. Their musical instruments include the piccolo "Ina" made of eagle bones, tambourines and lyres. I like "Diao Yang" and the polo match in festivals.

Tajik people are simple in style, simple in roads, open at night and harmonious in nationalities.

Tajik etiquette is simple and cordial. Men shake hands or kiss the back of their hands when they meet. When women meet, the elders kiss the eyes and foreheads of the younger generation, the younger generation kisses the palms of the elders, and the peers kiss each other's denominations and lips. When men and women meet their peers, they usually shake hands with each other or the woman kisses the man's palm.
