Frances hodgson burnett's The Little Princess

Frances burnett, 1849 was born in Manchester, England, and 1865 immigrated to Naxi, USA with his family. Burnett's father died young and his family was poor, so Burnett began to publish novels in magazines to supplement his family from the age of 18. Her first best-selling book was Laurie's Daughter, which was published at the age of 28 and was based on her childhood life experience in a British coal mine. However, what really made Burnett famous in the world was her children's literature. 1886, she published the novel "Little Master fauntroy", which tells the story of an American boy who became the heir to the British Earl. This book made Burnett one of the most popular and richest writers at that time. Since then, the word "fauntroy" has entered the English dictionary by referring to "overdressed children".
