It is expected to be in May 2023. Macun District is affiliated to Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, and is located in the northwest of Henan Province and the northeast of Jiaozuo City. It borders Taihang in the north and overlooks the Yellow River in the south. Macun District has a total area of ??122 square kilometers. Among them, the cultivated land area is 6133.33 hectares. According to relevant information, the South-to-North Water Diversion Project in the area is expected to officially start in May 2023, and the relocation and resettlement work will be carried out in advance. The resettlement community covers a total area of ??371,400 square meters, and 122 residential buildings have been completed. There are more than 10 scenic spots and historic sites in this area, among which the Zhaozhanggong site is a Longshan cultural site and the Guichengzhai site is a late ancient Yangshao culture site, both of which are provincial-level cultural relics protection units.
