Syria and Turkey do not handle it. Why did Turkey become the country receiving the largest number of Syrian refugees?

I think it is mainly because Turkey borders Syria, and then all Syrian refugees flow into Turkey. Please see my specific analysis below!

First of all, let's analyze it from the geographical position. We all know that Turkey and Syria are countries across Europe and Asia, and the southeast of Turkey just borders Syria. However, as neighbors, the two countries are not friendly. Turkey used to rely on the United States and then sent troops to invade Syria, which means that there was a war between the two countries. When there is a war between them, the Syrian people will suffer and they will be displaced. Homeless refugees can only wander around, and as far as I know, Syria itself is a small country. If refugees really have nowhere to go, they can only go to other countries, which means that many refugees may go to Turkey, Syria's neighboring country, when there is no way to go. Therefore, if this analysis is made, Turkey will naturally take in many Syrian refugees.

The second point can be analyzed from the perspective of Turkey's concept. I think the war between the two countries should be a war between the two governments and should not involve the two peoples. So I think Turkey must be very ashamed of those Syrian refugees, so Turkey often takes them in to make up for its guilt about Syrian refugees. Therefore, Turkey has naturally become the country that hosts the largest number of Syrian refugees.

Of course, the above is just my own opinion. If you have other different opinions, you can add them. If you like my opinion, you can also give me a compliment!
