Where is Chen Qiao now?
During the mutiny in Zhao Kuangyin, Chen Qiao was a post called Chen Qiaoyi, which was located in Chenqiao Town, southeast of fengqiu county, Xinxiang City, Henan Province, about15km away from Fengqiu County. Chenqiao Town is located on the north bank of the Yellow River, facing Kaifeng across the surging Yellow River. There are two roads from Chen Qiao to Kaifeng, one is the provincial road S2 19 west of Chen Qiaoyi, and the other is the G45 Daguang Expressway east of Chen Qiaoyi. You can reach the other side through Kaifeng Yellow River Bridge, which is about 35 kilometers away from Kaifeng. Chen Qiao mutiny, also known as Chen Qiaoyi mutiny, was a military coup in the history of China, which took place in the seventh year of Xiande in the later Zhou Dynasty (960). The Zhou Emperor followed suit, and in eight years (950), he made Guo Wei emperor and proclaimed himself emperor in Chen Qiaoyi. This mutiny led to the demise of the later Zhou Dynasty and the establishment of the Song Dynasty, and also marked the end of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms.
