Can an Indonesian visa be used in landing visa?
Since August 2005, the Indonesian government has allowed China (mainland) citizens to apply for VISAONARRIVAL at the open ports of Indonesian airports and ports. According to the current regulations, applicants need to hold a valid passport (valid for more than half a year) and a round-trip ticket to apply for a visa at the port counter. The fee is $35, and there is no need to fill out the application form.
The visa on arrival is valid for 30 days. After the expiration, you can apply to the local immigration office for an extension of 30 days at a cost of 250,000 rupiah. In case of airport immigration, customs, inspection and quarantine and other law enforcement officers demanding money when entering the country, they can report to the Indonesian government's Anti-extortion Comprehensive Management Office, or call the China Embassy in Indonesia, the Consulate General in Surabaya, Medan and Denpasar for 24-hour help.
China diplomatic and official passport holders can enter the country visa-free for 30 days, and Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions passport holders can enter the country visa-free for 30 days. In principle, visa exemption cannot be extended. Resident embassy and consulate personnel must apply for visas.

Precautions for entering Indonesia:
According to the agreement between China and Indonesia and Indonesian laws, only enterprises certified by ET-SBW in Indonesia can export bird's nest to China, and individuals are not allowed to bring bird's nest back to China (including Hong Kong and Macao), except for processed bird's nest that can be eaten directly (such as canned bird's nest with rock sugar).
In case of violation of the above laws, Indonesian Customs has the right to detain them. China citizens who travel to Indonesia should carefully understand the relevant laws and regulations of Indonesia in advance, and carefully buy and carry bird's nest to avoid unnecessary losses.
If China citizens want to live in Indonesia for a long time, they should not only obtain a visa that matches their work in Indonesia before going to Indonesia, but also apply for a residence permit from the local immigration office as soon as possible after arriving in Indonesia.
There are two kinds of residence permit: temporary residence permit (KITAS) valid for one year and permanent residence permit (KITAP) valid for five years. According to the regulations, foreigners staying in Indonesia are eligible to apply for a long-term residence permit only if they hold a temporary residence permit for five consecutive years.
