Wang Tai Site is a cultural relic protection unit in Henan Province.

Wang Tai Site in Wang Tai Village, Fanhu Township, Xiangcheng County, Neolithic Age.

The platform is located in the west of Wang Tai Village, Fanhu Township, Xiangcheng County, and has two original cities. The inner city is on the edge of the original platform, covering an area of 29.4 mu, and the outer city is about 1OO meters around the platform, covering an area of more than 5 mu. The second city gate is at the southern end. There are walls and battlements in the inner and outer cities, and there is an arrow tower in the north and south of the wall, which is no longer there. Due to the ground breaking in past dynasties and recent years, three-fifths of the platform has been cut off and the western half has been razed to the ground. The existing platform is 53m long from east to west, 5 1 m long from north to south and 8.5m high. During the Three Kingdoms period, this place was an important town in the southwest of Xudu. Flat terrain, endless fertile land, well-fed farmers, not far from the capital (Xudu), is an ideal place for training. Cao Cao once trained here, attacked the city and plundered the land, reclaimed land and planted grain and grass, which laid a good foundation for unifying the north. In Shang Cheng Village, north of Taitung, where Cao Cao trained, there is the site of Wei Wudi Palace, which is the place where Cao Cao gathered sages for deliberation. In the first year of Jian 'an (196), Cao Cao wanted to dominate the Central Plains, unify the whole country and recruit talents. At this time, Guo Jia defected to Cao Cao. Here, Cao Cao and Guo Jia discuss world affairs, and * * * business dominates. At that time, the city was magnificent, with towering gates, towering watchtowers and dragon-like walls. The existing city site is 500 meters long from east to west, 400 meters wide from north to south and 1 meter high. Now it is covered by houses and surrounded by flat land. There is a grain river in the southwest of the site, which is the water passage for Cao Cao to transport grain and grass. The shallow soil here is yellow and the deep soil is black. The soil on both sides of the river is as yellow as copper, and the soil at the bottom of the river is as black as iron, hence the name "Tiedi Copper Gang". In order to facilitate reclamation, Cao Cao opened a wide canal to build water conservancy projects. Excavation of the river, the grain river was excavated at this time. At that time, there was an eight-pier nine-hole stone bridge with a length of more than 30 meters, a width of 15 meters and a height of 5 meters on the Grain River. Ships can pass under the bridge, with stone pillars on both sides and male and female frogs carved at both ends, which is called "Golden Belly Shi Wa Bridge". Legend has it that Cao Chong once weighed an elephant by boat here. After the trial excavation of the site, the remains of Shang, Zhou, Qin and Han Dynasties were discovered. Unearthed artifacts include animal teeth, clam knives, stone axes, sand inclusions, red pottery pieces, Shang Dynasty rough rope pottery pieces, handmade vertical rope pottery pieces, pottery beans, pottery pots, iron swords, painted pottery pots, pottery ding, copper belt hooks and so on. Excavation shows that the training platform is the site of the late Longshan culture.
