How to evaluate Xun Mei?

Xun Mei is a suspense/plot/suspense film, written and directed by Weng Ziguang, starring Aaron Kwok, Xia Chun, Jin Yanling and Tan Yaowen.

In 2008, a case of dismembering the body of a maid worker occurred in Hong Kong, which caused a sensation for a while, and the major media rushed to report it, and this story was also made into a movie-The Walking Dead in Xun Mei.

I have always been impressed by a scene in which Wang Jiamei strolled on the rooftop, holding the wall with her hand, humming the lyrics of Sammi Cheng's "Dolls See the World", which made people feel worried, as if that was her life at the moment. She is only sixteen years old, but she has to face the social reality too early, be mature and sensible, and be independent too early. "Unforgettable years are my home." Wang Jiamei's parents divorced and moved to Shanghai with her mother, but she always cared about her father in her hometown. There is a picture of a beautiful woman on the wall of Mei Jia's house. In fact, she didn't know it, but she saw it and took her home. Her heart yearns to be a star. She met a person who wanted to be a model in the street, but she was not beautiful enough. She went barefoot as a model assistant and handed out leaflets in the street. Material needs finally put her on the road of helping her friends. She bought her beloved earrings with the first money, and was reluctant to take them off and left. It was easy to be satisfied. She is very humble at heart. She yearns for a better life, but she also laughs at such a greedy self. She felt that she didn't deserve such a life at all.

Wang Jiamei's lowest mistake was falling in love with her client. He only wants her body, but she entrusts her with her whole heart, hoping that they can become normal boyfriend and girlfriend. The film does not completely talk about evidence and facts, but turns to explore the human nature behind it. The more cruel reality behind it, the loneliness and despair that goes deep into the bone marrow, is enough to crush the desire to live.
