Generally speaking, the Russian visa is a document issued by the Russian entry-exit administration (such as the Immigration Bureau or its embassies and consulates abroad) to approve the entry of foreign citizens. When applying for a Russian visa, you need to prepare the following information:

To apply for a Russian visa, you must fill in and print an electronic Russian visa application form only in Russian or English on this website, and then apply for a Russian visa at the Consular Office of the Russian Consulate General in Shanghai.

China Nationality: Copy of ID card. Hong Kong and Macao, Taiwan Province Province: Original Mainland Pass and a copy of its home page. Nationality of third country: original and photocopy of valid visa or residence permit in China. A 45x35mm bareheaded photo with a white background (please attach the photo to the visa form). Citizens of Schengen countries, Israel, Finland, Estonia and Lithuania should provide effective medical insurance policies or ensure that the inviter compensates for medical expenses. China citizens who do not live in the consular area of our library must also show their Shanghai/Zhejiang/Jiangsu/Anhui temporary residence permits (temporary residence permits) when applying for visas.

Original invitation letter issued by Russian Immigration Bureau or Ministry of Foreign Affairs or original invitation letter issued by Russian inviting unit. Please note that the original invitation letter of the Russian inviting unit must conform to the Agreement between the Government of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Government of the Russian Federation on Facilitating Citizens' Exchanges.

The invitation letter shall include the following information:

-Name and position of the invitee;

Date of birth;

Gender;

Nationality;

-A valid travel document number;

-The duration and purpose of the visit;

-Number of visits to other countries;

—The full name and address of the inviting unit;

—Name and position of the signatory of the invitation letter.

In order to prove that the activities of Russian units comply with Russian laws, it is best to produce at least one copy of the following documents: tax registration certificate, account opening permit, approval certificate, business license, etc.

The original invitation letter issued by the Russian Immigration Bureau or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the original AIDS examination report and its copy (valid for three months) need to be supplemented with the original work permit and its copy (employees from other units: the original work permit and its copy issued by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and the original health examination certificate and its copy (valid for three months).

The original invitation letter issued by the Russian Immigration Bureau or the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministry of Foreign Affairs: telex number), the original AIDS examination report and its copy (valid for three months) need to be supplemented with the following documents: the original invitation letter from the Russian invited university, the copy of the study contract signed between the Russian invited university and the applicant, the original and its copy of the bank deposit certificate, the original and its copy of the high school diploma, and the original and its copy of the health certificate (valid for more than three months in Russia).

The original invitation letter for private (visiting relatives) visa issued by the Russian Immigration Bureau or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is best supplemented by a copy of the first page of a valid passport inviting Russian citizens and a message page for residence.

For example, the spouse of a Russian citizen whose children are under 18 years old or unable to work will accompany him to Russia and stay in Russia for no more than three months: a handwritten application by a Russian citizen, a copy of a valid passport of a Russian citizen and its home page, the original and photocopy of a family relationship certificate, and the original and photocopy of a child's inability to work. Please note: If you stay in Russia for more than 90 days, you need to apply for an AIDS quarantine report.

The existing train tickets and air tickets to Russia are not used as reasons for applying for a visa. If necessary, the applicant may be required to provide supplementary documents or interviews. If the visa cannot be obtained for some reason, the original invitation letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration Bureau and the company will not be returned. If several people apply at the same time, each applicant must provide complete documents. Each applicant will apply in person. Those who apply for diplomatic visas, official visas, visas for visiting foreign diplomatic and consular offices in Russia, visas for special affairs, and visas according to Russian-European agreements are all consulted at the visa office. The applicant should come in person to get the visa or provide a notarized power of attorney.
