When will Gaopulong Reservoir in Yilong New District start construction?

On May 13, experts and engineers from China Railway Fifth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. 10 moved to xinqiao town, Yilong New District, and started the feasibility survey and design, dam site, water storage level, resettlement and other special (item) reports and feasibility study reports of Gaopulong Reservoir. The whole feasibility study and other preparatory work is planned to be completed before June 30, 20 13.

It is reported that the proposed Gaopulong Reservoir is located in Gaopulong Village, xinqiao town, Yilong New District. The elevation of the reservoir area is high, the mountain spring water is constant all the year round, and the reservoir conditions are good. After preliminary survey by technicians, the total storage capacity of Gaopulong Reservoir is about 5 million cubic meters, and the total investment of the project is estimated to be 654.38+0.5 billion yuan.

It is understood that since the establishment of Yilong New District, industrial agglomeration and urbanization of market towns in xinqiao town have developed rapidly, and the construction of circular economy industrial park in Southwest Guizhou is in full swing. After the completion of the reservoir, the water stored in the reservoir area can supply industrial water and urban water by itself, taking into account the irrigation function of the surrounding agriculture, which will not only provide a strong water supply guarantee for xinqiao town to develop into an "industrial town" and a "demonstration town" in Yilong New District, but also have far-reaching significance for the industrial and urban development of the whole region.
