Yiyang Doukui Pagoda was built in the 12th year of Qing Qianlong (1747) and was founded by Gao Zi, the magistrate of Yiyang. It is a seven-story octagonal granite tower. The tower is 29.2 meters high and is made of 250 kilograms of strip-shaped granite. There used to be a ladder in the tower to climb to the top, but now there is no spiral staircase in the tower, so it is impossible to climb the tower. 1873 was struck by lightning, and the Yi people immediately repaired it. 1967 was demolished due to the inclination of the upper two floors, and 1988 was rebuilt to restore its original appearance.
