The cypress in Daimiao Temple in Taishan Mountain was planted by Liu Che, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, during meditation. Or it is famous for its anecdotes. For example, the cypress planted by the Yellow Emperor in Xuanyuan Temple in Huangling, Shaanxi Province, with a height of nearly 20 meters and a circumference of 10 meter, is the largest cypress tree in China, which is said to have been planted by the legendary ancestor of the Chinese nation, Xuanyuan Huangdi.

Jiangjunbai

The general cypress of Songyang Academy in Dengfeng City, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province is the oldest cypress in China, and is known as the "primitive cypress" at home and abroad. According to legend, when Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty visited Songshan Mountain in Yuan Fengnian (BC 1 10), he saw two cypress trees that were very tall and happy, so he named them "General".

The second general cypress is 18.9 meters high and its trunk is 4.5 meters thick. The tree is empty and can hold several people. The second general cypress was burned to death in the late Ming Dynasty. Now there are two "generals" living in the cypress tree, and the generals are obviously not as old as the two generals. According to folklore, when sealing a cypress tree, the first thing Emperor Wu saw was a big cypress tree, so he was named "General", but what he saw was a bigger one. But the emperor's golden mouth can't be changed, so he has to let the older one sit second. Now, the general cypress is crouching on the stone wall, and the trunk of the second general cypress has cracked. So far, two ancient cypresses have been sealed for more than 200 years. Zhao Puchu, chairman of the Buddhist Association of China, wrote a poem praising this day, "There are cypresses in Songyang for three thousand years". It is estimated that the age of these two ancient cypresses can be traced back to before the Zhou Dynasty, becoming the crown of ancient cypresses in China. A few days ago, although some bark of this tree fell off, its vitality remained, and its branches and leaves were still flourishing and full of vitality.

The ancient pagoda tree, also known as Hong Tong pagoda tree, is located in the pagoda tree park on the west side of Jia Cun, two kilometers northwest of Hongtong County. Although there are no magnificent buildings in Hongdong, there are endless tourists in both cold winter and hot summer. Some of them wrote poems to express their feelings of "thinking about drinking water and thinking about the source", while others looked up at the ancient pagoda and lingered for a long time, refusing to leave. According to records, there was a Guangji Temple on the west side of Jia Cun, two miles north of Hongdong in Ming Dynasty. This temple is magnificent, with many monks and pilgrims. There is a "tree surrounded by mu of shade" next to the temple, and the avenue of chariots and horses passes through the shade. The old harriers on Fenhe beach nest in the trees and are scattered all over the floor, which is very spectacular. The Ming government set up a bureau in Guangji Temple to concentrate immigrants, and the locust tree became a gathering place for immigrants.

Xuanyuanbai

In the Huangdi Temple in Beiqiao Mountain, huangling county City, Shaanxi Province, the height of the tree is more than ten meters, and the circumference is 10 meter, which is the largest cypress tree in the temple. Xuanyuanbai, which is said to have been planted by Gongsun Xuanyuan, the Yellow Emperor, has always been regarded as the first ancient tree in China.

Phoenix pine

In Jiuhuashan People's Hospital in Anhui Province, it is said that it was planted by a monk named Huaidu, and it has been 1400 years since. The pine needles are dense and luxuriant, and the trunk is slightly fan-shaped, which looks like a phoenix spreading its wings. Known as "the first pine in the world."

The east manjusri cave roof of Yuping Building in Huangshan, Anhui Province is long and loose, with lush foliage and beautiful shape. Dong 'ali Mountain in Chiayi County, Taiwan Province Province, is an old cypress with a tree age of over 3,000 years, commonly known as "Zhou Gongsong". The original tree looks like a human figure and is about 53 meters high. Unfortunately, it has been split by lightning in recent years.

Ficus tianbahe

Tianma River in the suburb of Xinhui County, Guangdong Province is a huge ancient banyan tree with swaying branches and leaves and vertical and horizontal roots, covering an area of 10000 square meters. Gu Rong is famous for the Bird's Paradise written by writer Ba Jin forty years ago.
