Recently, many overseas Chinese writers, either directly or through friends and acquaintances, hope that I can help them publish their works in Chinese mainland and show their hard work to readers in Chinese mainland. Therefore, this set of essays by overseas Chinese writers is planned. Traditionally, we call places outside Chinese mainland, Taiwan Province, Hongkong and Macau "overseas", so the word "overseas" locks the authors of this series in the selection range.

The reason why this series of books is particularly interested in "overseas" is that writers from Chinese mainland, Taiwan Province, Hongkong and Macau in China instinctively choose to write in Chinese characters, and there are many publishing houses. In Wang Yang, where overseas Chinese writers are located, it is rare for relevant publishing institutions to insist on writing in Chinese, especially commendable, which objectively plays a positive role in promoting China culture around the world.
