After a year-long search, experts from China and Saudi Arabia finally found a similar date palm tree in the south of China, which means that the Saudi Arabian oasis design on the roof of the Saudi Pavilion of the World Expo is finally expected to be realized.

The architectural design of the Saudi Pavilion was jointly completed by the teams of China and Saudi Arabia. The shape of "Moon Boat" surrounds deserts, oases and oceans, which embodies the local customs and geomorphological features of Saudi Arabia, and at the same time implies the gathering of urban talents, resources and wealth.
