Is the climate in Tel Aviv hot?
Tel Aviv's climate is a typical Mediterranean climate type. Tel Aviv is a city with high humidity in Israel. From June 10 to April of the following year, it is rainy, with little rain in summer. The temperature rarely drops below 5℃ in winter, usually between 10 and 15℃, while the average temperature in summer is 26℃, but it may reach 35℃ in hot summer. Spring and autumn are short, and the climate changes quite rapidly. Many people think that the best time in Tel Aviv is April, when the sun is shining, the temperature is suitable, the humidity is low and flowers are in full bloom.
Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv-Jaffa, is the second largest city in Israel, with a population of 400,000, mainly Jews, and Arabs account for about 4% of the total population. It was originally established in 1909 by a group of Jewish immigrants in order to escape the high housing prices in the neighboring ancient port city of Jaffa. Gradually, the development of Tel Aviv surpassed Jaffa, which is dominated by Arabs. Two years after the founding of Israel, it was 1950. Tel Aviv and Jaffa merged to form Tel Aviv-Jaffa City. Tel Aviv is now regarded as the most international economic center in Israel and the center of the so-called Silicon Valley area.
