How do VISA gold card holders apply for a Singapore visa?

In fact, what you said about your conditions is quite suitable for going to Singapore! But visas don't seem to be helpful for studying abroad, so I'll tell you about the conditions for applying for a study visa in Singapore. As long as you meet these requirements, you can go, and the visa in Singapore is relatively easy to handle!

1. Guarantor:

Applicants for student passes can choose to be sponsored by themselves or by their schools/Singapore citizens/Singapore permanent residents. If the guarantor is a Singapore citizen or a permanent resident of Singapore, a copy of the guarantor's ID card must be submitted when applying.

2. Courses:

The application for new student pass is limited to language, business, craft and art courses offered by private schools recognized by the Ministry of Education of Singapore. Students must first apply for admission to the school by themselves, and then submit the application materials to the Student Permission Office of the Singapore Embassy in China. You must reapply for every new course or school.

3. Materials and documents to be submitted:

Please arrange the application materials in the following order. Missing any materials, documents or incomplete forms will be rejected. All forms are provided by the school.

Two recent two-inch photos (color or black and white);

Two originals and 1 copy of the completed application form. IMM 16, with address, zip code and telephone number of China, China;

The notarial certificate must be accompanied by an English translation. The above notarial certificate must be notarized by the notary office where the applicant is located, and certified by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China or the foreign affairs agency authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China. The bank deposit certificate can be the bank deposit of the applicant himself or his parents. The minimum deposit is RMB 6,543.8+RMB 5,000. The term of time deposit is at least three months.

4. Interview:

The interview time is generally 2 months after submitting the materials. At that time, the Singapore Embassy will inform the school of the interview time in writing. During the interview, the applicant should bring the original and photocopy of relevant documents, such as ID card, diploma, registration card, bank passbook, deposit certificate, etc. If you don't have an ID card, please bring your household registration book. About 60 days after the interview, the school will receive a written notice from the Immigration and Checkpoint Bureau to inform the application result. Applicants can check the application results directly from the school instead of from the Singapore Embassy.

5. Deposit and entry visa:

After the application is approved, the self-funded students will be informed by the school to pay the deposit (25,000 RMB in cash, 25,000 RMB) at the Singapore Embassy in China. The student visa must be handled by the student himself at the embassy. At that time, it is necessary to submit the original approval letter from the Immigration Inspection Bureau to the school, the letter of guarantee (please fill in the relevant items of this book clearly as required, and the signature should be consistent with the application form) and the formal notice of starting school issued by the school. After the above materials are complete, students must go through the relevant formalities at the Student Permission Office of the Singapore Embassy in China from Monday to Friday. Entry visas can only be issued within four weeks before the start of school, and it takes three working days to go through the visa formalities. Applicants should not go directly to the embassy to ask for the guarantee money until they receive the approval letter from the Immigration and Checkpoint Bureau and the formal notice of starting classes.

The refund notice of the deposit will be notified to the students in writing by the embassy after the Immigration and Checkpoint Bureau authorizes the embassy. After receiving the notice from the embassy, students need to go to the embassy in person or entrust their parents (only parents can be entrusted) to get back the deposit. If it is collected by parents, a letter of authorization signed by students is required.

6. Handling fee:

The fee for the student ID card is S $40 yuan (sent to the Immigration and Checkpoint Bureau). The entry visa fee is S $20 (RMB 100). In addition, there is no other handling fee.

7. Place of submission and opening hours:

Anyone who applies for the above courses must apply to the Student Permission Office of the Singapore Embassy in China.

Matters needing attention

It should be noted that overseas students, whether at public expense or at their own expense, must apply directly to the Immigration Bureau for a student permit through schools, institutions of higher learning or guarantors in Singapore. Once approved, foreign students will get an entry visa card issued by the Immigration Bureau. There are several ways to apply for a visa:

1. Send the completed Form8 form and a copy of the first page of the valid passport 10 to the inviter, and the inviter (guarantor) will handle the entry permit for the applicant at the Singapore Immigration Bureau. After approval, the guarantor will give me the permit as my entry certificate. The guarantor in Singapore will submit the original license to the Singapore entry checkpoint. After the international students arrive in Singapore, the checkpoint will check the fax of their permits, issue special passes and ask them to apply for visas at the work permit office of the former Singapore Immigration Bureau. The permit must have the approval number, the seal of the immigration bureau or the signature of the immigration official, the name and passport number of the international student.

2. If the overseas students have not received the permit, but know the approval number, they can apply for an entry visa with an invitation letter, a completed Form8 form, an original passport and a passport photo.

3. Apply for a separate paper visa: the applicant sends a copy of the first 10 page of the passport and the completed Form8 form to the inviter to apply for a separate paper visa for the applicant at the local civil affairs bureau, and then sends it to the applicant. Applicants can enter Singapore with a separate paper visa (of course, they must also go through exit formalities with their valid passports, exit cards, international travel health certificates, etc.). ).

The gold card needs to be submitted in person, and there is no guarantee that you can get a two-year multiple-entry visa. You'd better go through the local travel agency in Shanghai. Or apply online and get it yourself.

Now the gold card is still being processed.
