Yingkou population and nationalities

1861On May 24th, Yingkou replaced Niuzhuang as the first port city in northeast China, and Yingkou City was established. After the port was opened, with the prosperity of the wharf, the migration tide of Yingkou began, and the main immigrants were Shandong Jiaodong, Tianjin, Hebei and other places, forming Yingkou City.

In 20 14, the total registered population of the city was 2,354,500, and the urban population was10.563 million. In 20 14, the city's permanent population reached 2.49 million, of which the urban permanent population reached 1.206 million.

At the end of 20 14, there were Han, Manchu, Hui, North Korea, Mongolian, Xibo, Tibetan, Uygur, Miao, Yi, Zhuang, Buyi, Dong, Yao, Bai, Tujia, Hani, Li, Gaoshan, Daur, Russian, Ewenki, and so on in Yingkou. There are five ethnic minorities with large populations, Manchu/KOOC-0/33565, Hui/KOOC-0/5948, Korean/KOOC-0/0253, Mongolian 5525 and Xibe/KOOC-0/478.
