Has the Thai court issued an arrest warrant to Yingluck again?

654381October 5th, it was reported that a Thai court issued an arrest warrant against former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra for illegally leaving the country. This is the third arrest warrant against Yingluck since the rice purchase case was pronounced.

Chivala, deputy director of the Thai Police Headquarters, said that the Southern Criminal Court of Bangkok issued an arrest warrant to Yingluck on the 4th because she fled the rice purchase case involved and left Thailand through improper channels. The police will send detailed arrest documents to major entry and exit ports across the country.

On August 25, the Supreme Court of Thailand issued an arrest warrant against Yingluck for failing to attend the rice purchase case as required, and postponed the sentencing to September 27. In the judgment of September 27th, the Supreme Court found Yingluck guilty of dereliction of duty and connivance of corruption in absentia, sentenced her to five years' imprisonment and issued an arrest warrant again.

Regarding the whereabouts of Yingluck, Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Bavi Onsuwan said on September 22 that three policemen helped Yingluck escape from Thailand and the "behind-the-scenes ambassador" was at home. Thai Prime Minister Ba Yu later revealed that according to the Thai Foreign Ministry, Yingluck is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Shivara told the media on the 3rd of this month that Yingluck has left Dubai, and now the British and Thai police are seeking Interpol to issue a wanted order against Yingluck.
