Where is Diaojiaqiu Village?

According to the genealogy of the villagers, in the second year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1369), Diao migrated from Yunnan to live in Yaokou by the river. It is said that after the kiln mouth caught fire and the burned tiles disappeared, Diao moved here to build a village and named it after his surname.

Administrative population

Diaojiaqiu Village is located in the northwest of Jiaolai Town, with Gaomi in the west, Liu Jia Garden in the north, Gouxi Village in the east and Goudong in the south. By the end of 2005, there were 320 people and 90 households in the village, with a total area of 1 150 mu.
