While maintaining policy continuity, efforts should be made to solve new problems. Students whose parents are citizens of China or whose parents are born with foreign nationality enter the junior college as international students. In addition to meeting other university registration qualifications, applicants must also have a record of actually living in a foreign country for more than two years in the past four years. For students with unknown nationality, institutions of higher learning or students themselves can make judgments according to the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China, or they can verify and confirm their nationality with the exit-entry administration department of the local public security organ at or above the county level.
