What is the geographical location (longitude, latitude) of Cape Town? What are the characteristics of the climate?

The city is located at 33 degrees 55 minutes south latitude and 18 degrees 25 minutes east longitude.

The central area of Cape Town is located at the northern end of Cape Peninsula. The topography of Table Mountain forms a bowl-shaped area, surrounded by nearly right-angled cliffs, with Devil Peak and Lion Head Peak on both sides. There is a ridge in the Cape Peninsula that extends all the way to the Atlantic Ocean and ends at the Cape of Good Hope.

The Cape Peninsula has a Mediterranean climate with four distinct seasons. In winter, from May to August every year, the cold front from the Atlantic brings a lot of rain, and the average temperature is only about 7℃. The highest rainfall in the whole city is in winter, and due to the terrain, the rainfall in different regions may be very different. From 1 1 in summer to February of the following year, the climate is warm and dry with an average temperature of 26℃.

Because of the geographical environment, there are often fresh strong winds blowing from the southeast of the Cape Peninsula. The locals call this strong wind "Dr. Cape". This wind is formed on the ridge of the South Atlantic Ocean west of Cape Town, which brings fresh air to the area and blows away pollutants in the air.
